This product line was designed according to unique technical specifications specifically for the needs of the railway sector and heavy machinery.
Currently, we have 26 brand-new units (manufactured in 2020, carefully stored) available at our warehouse in Berlin, Germany. We are ready to promptly organize shipping in any quantity you need: from 1 unit to the entire batch.
Key Technical Specifications and Advantages:
Power & Class: Nominal power is 200 kVA (160 kW) at 400 V and 50 Hz. The equipment features an H/H insulation class and an IP23 protection degree.
Perfect Compatibility (Special Flange): The alternators are equipped with a special flange designed for direct coupling with the legendary YaMZ-238 diesel engine. This completely eliminates the need to source and install additional adapter couplings.
Railway Standard ("R" - Railway): The model is engineered with an increased safety margin to operate under the severe vibrations and dynamic loads of rolling stock.
PMG Excitation System: The Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) technology, usually optional for standard series, is installed as standard here. It provides outstanding overload capacity (up to 300% for 10 seconds) and perfect voltage stability when starting heavy electric motors.
Intelligent Control: The precision of the output network parameters is guaranteed by the modern AVR DBL1 digital voltage regulator.
Tropicalized Windings: Standard tropicalization of all windings provides enhanced insulation and reliable protection against condensation and aggressive environments, which is critical for uninterrupted operation in extreme climatic conditions.
Universal Adaptation Capabilities
Although these alternators are tailored "out of the box" for direct operation with the YaMZ-238, their potential is much broader. The design allows for easy modification of the units to fit standard SAE couplings (e.g., SAE 3, SAE 2, or SAE 1).
This flexibility makes it possible to use these high-quality Italian alternators in conjunction with almost any modern diesel engine (Volvo Penta, Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, etc.) used in your power generation projects. We are ready to provide all necessary technical support and consultation for this conversion.
